Downfall

I'm on the run to the Promised Land

Where all my suffering comes to an end

A place of complete bliss and peace

But sometimes it seems out of reach



And on my journey of an unknown path

I will continue to strive towards

A life without any tears

That overcomes our primal fears



I need no mercy, I need no might

Because I have the power to survive

I don't know how, I don't know why

I'm always here and still alive



Complete exhausted and without a support

I concentrate all my efforts

To proceed the foreseen way

Hope that I'm not being lead astray



And when I come to the final stage

Whether it takes my last reserves

I will defend to pass the test

The reward is my eternal rest
